South Shore Tae Kwon Do has many upcoming events for our students and school families. Refer to this page to find out about upcoming tournaments, promotion testing, school functions and other school related information.
We will also be posting news bulletins or other pertinent information regarding the school, its students, its instructors, or the Master. The calendar will also list these items as well. Make sure you print out the school calendar each month for easy reference.

This women's self-defense seminar is for all ages 13 and above. No prior martial arts training is required. We will cover both physical and non-physical ways to defend yourself. It will be held on Thursday October 6th from 8:30-9:30 P.M. at South Shore Tae Kwon Do in Rockland.
The instructors for this seminar will be Ms. Whitman who has over 20 years martial arts experience. Please wear comfortable workout clothes. Also bring water.
Registration fee is $10.00, and all proceeds will be donated to a women's shelter charity. To register, please come to our school and see the front desk.

Annual Halloween Party 2022
Join us for some Halloween fun of dancing, food, and games.
The party will be held on Friday October 7th at the Rockland Eagle's Club on Park Street in Rockland. Little Dragons will be from 6:00-7:00 P.M., everyone else from 7:30-9:00 P.M.
More details to come. The students may bring their siblings and parent/guardians, but due to space requirements, no other family members.

Annual Kick-A-Thon
We are excited to for our annual kick-a-thon for Breast Cancer Awareness month. Students will have the opportunity to kick for 2, 5, or 10 minutes straight and see how many kicks they can do within that time period. There will be prizes in each time category for most kicks and most donations raised.
This fun event is not only for the students, but any siblings and parents as well.
Pledges may be paid by cash or checks made out to the school. No credit/debit cards for the pledges. All proceeds will go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Susan G. Komen Foundation and Dana Farber Cancer Institute. All pledges should be collected no later than October 15th to be counted towards your total. Prizes will be awarded for most kicks as well as a prize for the most pledges collected in each time frame.

Fall Glow Chuck Class
Want a fun way to enhance your nunchak skills? Join us for this fun Glow Chuk class for students ages 4 and above.
Students will be taught basic nunchuk drills. Towards the end of the class, we will be activating the glow sticks for the nunchaks and turning out the lights for some glow chuk fun!
This is open to all SSTKD students of any age or rank (please note that these nunchaks only come in one size). To reserve your spot, please sign-up with Mrs. Tanzi at the school. The registration fee is $40.00 and includes the glo chuks that the student gets to keep. For those that already have their own glo chuks (SSTKD approved chuks), the registration fee is $10.00.
