01

Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the South Shore Tae Kwon Do website, including its pages, forms, downloadable files, payment links, registration links, and other online features.

In these Terms, “SSTKD,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to South Shore Tae Kwon Do. “You” and “your” refer to the person visiting or using the website.

By accessing or using the website, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms. If you are using the website on behalf of a minor, you represent that you are the minor’s parent, legal guardian, or otherwise authorized to act on the minor’s behalf.

02

Website Purpose

The SSTKD website provides general information about the studio, instructors, martial arts programs, class schedules, camps, tournaments, community events, merchandise, payment options, contact information, and student resources.

Website content is provided for general informational and administrative purposes. It does not constitute medical, legal, fitness, or other professional advice.

Anyone with a medical condition, injury, physical limitation, or health concern should consult an appropriate healthcare professional before beginning or continuing a physical activity program.

03

Participation Documents and Studio Policies

Use of this website does not, by itself, authorize anyone to participate in a South Shore Tae Kwon Do class, program, event, camp, tournament, demonstration, or other physical activity.

Participation may require completion and acceptance of additional documents, including:

  • Student applications and enrollment forms.
  • Participant or parent information.
  • Emergency contact information.
  • Studio rules and policies.
  • Assumption-of-risk or liability-release documents.
  • Event-specific registration requirements.
  • Medical, allergy, accommodation, or safety information.
Important: These Website Terms do not replace any signed student application, participant agreement, liability release, studio policy, event rule, or other document required by SSTKD.
04

Registrations, Programs, and Availability

Classes, camps, tournaments, events, vendor spaces, merchandise, and other SSTKD offerings may be subject to eligibility requirements, age requirements, capacity limits, registration deadlines, instructor approval, availability, and additional terms.

Submission of an inquiry, registration form, or payment does not guarantee acceptance when:

  • The program or event has reached capacity.
  • The participant does not meet the stated requirements.
  • Required information or documentation is incomplete.
  • The payment is declined, reversed, or incomplete.
  • The offering is modified, postponed, or canceled.
  • Acceptance would create an operational or safety concern.

SSTKD may contact the purchaser, participant, parent, or legal guardian when clarification or additional information is needed.

05

Online Payments and Stripe

SSTKD may use Stripe-hosted payment pages to accept payments for classes, camps, tournaments, events, vendor spaces, merchandise, and other services.

When you select an online payment link, payment information is submitted directly to Stripe. Your transaction may also be governed by Stripe’s own terms and privacy practices.

You agree to provide accurate payment, contact, participant, and registration information. You represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.

Prices, deadlines, refund terms, and other transaction details displayed on the relevant registration page or payment page apply to that specific purchase.

Payment information: Do not send complete credit-card numbers, bank-account information, passwords, or other sensitive payment credentials through an SSTKD website form, ordinary email, or telephone message.
06

You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of information you submit through the website, email, payment pages, registration forms, or other online interactions.

You should submit only information that you are authorized to provide. When submitting information concerning a minor, you represent that you are authorized to provide that information on the minor’s behalf.

When website information conflicts with a current written agreement, registration confirmation, payment receipt, or direct communication from SSTKD, contact the studio for clarification.

12

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

SSTKD does not warrant that:

  • The website will meet every user’s requirements.
  • The website will operate without interruption or error.
  • All content will always be current or complete.
  • Every third-party link or service will remain available.
  • The website will be free from all harmful or unauthorized components.

Nothing on the website should be interpreted as a guarantee of martial arts progress, rank advancement, competition results, fitness outcomes, physical performance, or other individual results.

13

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SSTKD and its owners, instructors, employees, representatives, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the website.

This limitation applies to website use, website content, downloadable materials, external links, technical failures, interrupted access, and unauthorized interference with the website.

Nothing in this section is intended to exclude or limit a liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Separate participation terms: Physical participation in Tae Kwon Do classes, camps, tournaments, events, and other activities is governed by separate registration documents, studio policies, releases, and participant agreements.
14
